Thunder Photograph Book

Thunder have brought out a coffee table picture book. Thunder were a hard rock band from the UK, they split up recently.  They reformed for a one off show in the summer at the High Voltage festival in London.  The book has photos from High Voltage festival, the rehearsals and the warm up show at Nottingham rock city.
It may be a coffee table book but they don't play coffee table rock. If you don't know any Thunder stuff then check out their music here is the Thunder music catalogue. The Very of Thunder box set is a good introduction to the band and great value for a 3 disc set.

The book has 3 days in July 2011, Day 1 is the rehearsals, Day 2 is the warm up show and Day 3 is the High Voltage appearance.  The book also has a foreword by each of the band.  See the links below.

The Thunder Book shop is here.

Look at the preview of entire book here, Thunder: 3 Days In July 2011:

They have an iPad & iPhone version which is quite cheap 5e vs 65e.  It is worth having a look and a read of the book anyway.

Thanks for reading,
Steve.

Steve Rock Guitar and the Acoustic Update

One of my sites has been updated and it is I have a new subdomain on Hubpages, it called Steve Rock Guitar which is cool.  You can go see it here.
http://steverockguitar.hubpages.com/

At the moment I have had a hub there called Playing Rock Guitar which has been up for about a year and a half.  I recently have been adding some information on the acoustic guitar to it.

All new Steve Rock Guitar at Hubpages

I have a friend BeaRockr who has a very enjoyable Rock Blog Here.  He pointed out the advantages of an acoustic guitar in rock.  I have always used an acoustic privatley but preached the use of an electric guitar.  So it got me thinking and I have put some info on the hub about it.

So if you have checked out the hub before take another look at the end for the new content.  I am thinking about adding another rock guitar hub to keep it company.  So if you have any ideas or want to see anything on it then leave me a comment or drop me a line.

Thanks for reading,
Steve Rock Guitar.  \m/
